Challenge

Well, I really need to start filling this blog with cardmaking and day to day stuff.
I made this card for the Funkyhand challenge "Going round in circles" but left it so late that I missed the boat as they say. I kept looking at the cards made by the DT and eventually tried myself , and unfortunately realised that it was nearly 7.00pm and I had missed the deadline. But I am still posting it as I am very pleased with my achievment, and it was good experience.
This is how I made it------The circles were created by using the Celebration board from Crafters Companion, using papers from the free download from Funkyhand, card from my stash, and the sentiment from an old copy of Simply Cards and Papercraft.
I hope this is the start of more fruitful cardmaking.

  1. Hi Heather

Thank you for your lovely comments on the Get Funky! challenge blog.

What a shame you missed the deadline with this lovely card. You used Anice's free paper beautifully. Love the layout!!

As for not finding your style yet .. .. if it helps I haven't found mine either.

One day I like doing one style and another day another. Variety being the spice of life and all that.

The main thing is just to have fun with your crafting.

I hope you manage to make a card for this month's challenge .. .. but no pressure.

    Love Jules xx

  3. I'm so sorry that you missed the deadline on the Get Funky! challenge with this card..it's great!
As Jule said above..I don't think real crafters ever 'find' their style..there is always so many new products and techniques who wants to stay the same just make what you like when you like it!!
