New Beginning Again... 2013

Well crafters, didnt do very well with this blog  did I? So here we go again. I am going to try harder to put my cards on here regularly, and also leave a bit of chat from time to time. Its Saturday and I am hoping to get at least one card made later. I will also be putting photos of the cards I have made over the last months so that I can journal my changing style including everything I have done up to now and all those going forward. 

St. Valentine

I made this last night for my husband for St. Valentines Day.....The hearts were made from the Crafters Companion Celebrations board and some of my cardstock. I also made an insert in the shape of a heart .

Challenge

Well, I really need to start filling this blog with cardmaking and day to day stuff.
I made this card for the Funkyhand challenge "Going round in circles" but left it so late that I missed the boat as they say. I kept looking at the cards made by the DT and eventually tried myself , and unfortunately realised that it was nearly 7.00pm and I had missed the deadline. But I am still posting it as I am very pleased with my achievment, and it was good experience.
This is how I made it------The circles were created by using the Celebration board from Crafters Companion, using papers from the free download from Funkyhand, card from my stash, and the sentiment from an old copy of Simply Cards and Papercraft.
I hope this is the start of more fruitful cardmaking.

Blog Hop

Have just finished Penny Black Blog Hop. What a great idea.... have visited some blogs not seen before as I haven't been to The Penny Black blog before, and there is a possibility of prizes, a very long shot but you never know......There were some fantastic cards on display, such talent. Must find time to make something to put in this blog - its still very bare.

New Beginnings 2

Well , I have restarted this blog again.

I am planning to fill it with some pictures of cards that I am hoping to make starting from today or maybe tomorrow...... Thought I would join in with some of the challenges I have looked at recently. Firstly. have looked at Funky Hand blog, and am going to try to enter a card into their challenge this month.I have been looking at the blogs of their design team and others and have got quite interested in whats going on in these crafty blogs. So watch this space..........

Hopefully, I will try and fill this blog with creative things and maybe they wont be too awful. To all you fantastic card designers out there please be gentle with me.....
